For informational purposes only
All tariff rates, duty calculations, trade action data, classification information, and other content on DutyDesk ("the Service") are provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, customs advice, or binding classification guidance.
No guarantee of accuracy
DutyDesk sources data from the US International Trade Commission (USITC), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the EU TARIC database (European Commission), and the Federal Register. While we make reasonable efforts to keep data current, tariff rates can change at any time through presidential proclamations, executive orders, Federal Register notices, or EU regulations.
We do not guarantee that any rate, code description, trade action, ruling reference, or duty calculation displayed on DutyDesk is accurate, complete, or up to date at the time you view it.
Consult a licensed customs broker
Before making any import or export decision based on information from DutyDesk, consult a licensed customs broker or trade compliance professional. For binding US tariff classification rulings, contact US Customs and Border Protection. For EU classifications, contact the customs authority in the relevant EU member state.
Duty calculations are estimates
The DutyDesk duty calculator produces estimates based on available data. Actual duties assessed by customs authorities may differ due to classification disputes, valuation adjustments, antidumping or countervailing duty deposit requirements, merchandise processing fees, harbour maintenance fees, or other factors not captured in the calculation.
Rulings and trade actions
CBP Cross rulings and EU Binding Tariff Information (BTI) decisions displayed on DutyDesk are sourced from public government databases. These rulings are specific to the products, circumstances, and parties involved. A ruling issued to another party does not apply to your goods. Do not treat a ruling displayed on DutyDesk as applicable to your import.
Trade action data (Section 301, Section 232, IEEPA, EU anti-dumping, safeguard measures) reflects our interpretation of published government sources. Lists of affected HTS codes are subject to modification. Always verify against the original Federal Register notices or EU Official Journal publications.
Limitation of liability
DutyDesk, its operators, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on any information provided by the Service. This includes, without limitation, penalties, interest, or additional duties assessed by any customs authority. Use of DutyDesk is at your own risk.
Third-party links
DutyDesk may link to government websites and other third-party sources. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy.
