Terms of Service
Last updated: February 13, 2026
1. Overview
DutyDesk ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at dutydesk.app. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What we provide
DutyDesk provides tariff rate information sourced from the United States International Trade Commission (USITC), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the European Union's TARIC database. This information is provided for reference only.
3. Not legal or classification advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, classification rulings, or binding tariff determinations. Duty rates, trade actions, and customs rulings displayed on DutyDesk are for informational purposes only. Always consult the official Harmonized Tariff Schedule and a licensed customs broker for binding rates and classifications.
4. Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep data current and accurate, but we don't guarantee that every rate, description, or ruling is error-free or up to date. Tariff schedules change frequently. Verify critical information against official government sources before making business decisions.
5. Accounts and API access
Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys secure. Don't share API keys or use the API in ways that degrade the service for other users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse rate limits.
6. Limitation of liability
DutyDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including incorrect duty calculations, missed trade actions, or classification errors. Your use of the data is at your own risk.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
