IEEPA Tariff
Tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act during declared national emergencies.
IEEPA tariffs are duties imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which grants the President authority to regulate commerce during a declared national emergency. IEEPA has been used to impose baseline tariffs on all imports and country-specific additional duties. Unlike Section 301 or 232, IEEPA tariffs are not tied to a specific trade investigation. They stack on top of MFN rates and other trade action tariffs.
